FlowState Privacy Policy

FlowState is a song-building workspace designed to keep permanent project storage local to your phone or browser unless you choose an optional cloud-backed feature.

Information FlowState may process

• Local creative workspace data: lyrics, saved sessions, recordings, beat files, analyzed song-builder results, and exported FlowState files may be stored on your phone or browser.
• Temporary processing files: recordings, beat files, or related working files may be temporarily stored on the FlowState server for transcription, playback, analysis, recovery, or other requested features. Temporary working files are intended to be cleared automatically after the temporary processing window.
• Account data: when you create a FlowState account, the service stores your email address, a protected password hash, login-session records, account status, plan entitlements, Flow Credit activity, and related account metadata.
• Optional Cloud Sync data: when you activate Cloud Sync, FlowState stores the sessions that you intentionally sync so they can be restored across supported devices.
• AI and transcription processing: text, recordings, or requested creative inputs may be sent to configured service providers when needed to perform a transcription, Recode, analysis, or other AI-assisted feature that you choose to use.
• Advertising and billing: free-plan advertising may use Google Mobile Ads and consent tools. Google Play may process purchases, subscriptions, and entitlement verification when you choose a paid plan or Flow Credit purchase.

Local storage and exported FlowState files

Saving a session to your phone or browser is separate from exporting a full FlowState file. Exported FlowState files are portable backups that you can store, move, and import later. Files that remain on your own device are under your control.

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your FlowState account and account-linked server data from inside the FlowState account panel. You can also review the standalone account-deletion instructions at /account-deletion.

Deleting an account does not automatically erase portable FlowState exports or local phone/browser files that remain on your own device. Those files can be removed directly from your device.

Limited retention

FlowState may retain minimized, disconnected purchase-verification records when needed for billing integrity, fraud prevention, replay prevention, refunds, chargebacks, or legal obligations. These records are separated from the deleted FlowState account.
